Thanked: 1185Me and my Friday Night date. I've got a ton of school stuff to get done, but hey, sometimes the boldest action is liquid bread action. Cheers Fellas!

Ah, nice; bonding through brewing. I've been having the itch to attempt another brew. But, I already have too many things that require attention before starting something else. Then, summer will be here and it'll be too hot. Next fall I guess. Be sure to post a picture of a mug of your beer when it's done!!

Thanked: 369Will do. Not sure how I found the time for a batch. Had to replace some parts and re-dedicate an old fridge for fermentation. Keeping my fingers crossed that the yeast will take off and that no other beasties got in. The boy seemed to enjoy the process - especially watching me do most of the work. But it was his time to learn, next time he can do some of the heavy lifting (and cleaning, and sanitation...)

Thanked: 369Wow! Fermentation definitely took off! Krausen filled the air lock and I had to improvise a blow-off set-up. Never had that happen before.

Thanked: 2284Got into the Flying monkeys Hoptical illusion last night while watching the leafs game with a bunch of buddies. Fighting it a bit this morning with black coffee and some greasy food.
One of my favorite beers right now from Barrie Ontario. Its an Almost Pale Ale sitting at 32 IBU's. Has a nice bitterness to it.
