Messiah Bold by the Shcmaltz Brewing Co., very much a full bodied beer, if you like the hops, this is the one.

Oval weekend
As there is a national holiday here tomorrow, and I decided to take the rest of the week off, there is definitely time for a few beers.
I seem to always enjoy Peroni when in London, and Warsteiner when in Spain.
Feels great to be able to find them here, about a hundred yards from home at the local store
Bjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

A favorite pairing
I often enjoy these together, as I find their flavors compliment each other.
Gotta love those international trade agreements!

I'm not usually a fan of Sam Adams standard offerings. They do have a few "non"standards that are very good and the Baltic IPA is one of those. You get the initial flavors and notes from an IPA at the start but the finish is the sweet malty goodness of the stouts and porters I tend to favor.

Thanked: 2284After weeding my entire front yard, picked up some grass seed and fertilizer at the hardware store, scooped up land mines from my horse of a dog, Jack. The temp is 25 degrees (73f) on a beautiful Sunday and its just hit 12:00. Time for a cold one!!! Nothing tastes as good as a Belgian wheat ale to quench the thirst. Here's one from a very popular brewery in Toronto called Mill st. Belgian Wit.
