Throwing back a lot of cold Heinekens while watching my Bruins vs Rangers game 3 !!!!

i only drink homebrew these days. makin it faster than i can drinrk it

It's chilly out in my neck of the woods, but I still decided to break out the Leinenkugels Summer Shandy. Not the manliest beer...but oh so delicious. Cheers!

Black velvet, half wood chuck hard cider and half guinness. AWESOME!

I haven't had a Sierra Nevada beer in years, until a few minutes ago, when I had my first taste of their Hoptimum. 100 IBU and 10.4 ABV. Cascade hops. Supposedly you can't taste any more hoppyness or bitter past 60 IBU. Surprisingly the bitterness does not overwhelm the taste buds. Nice film on the sierranevada.com website. Harvesting hops and repurposing of metal to build the brewery. Pretty cool stuff. Tasty.

Green Man IPA made in Asheville, North Carolina 63 IBU 6.2 % ABV
British malts. A British style IPA.

Enjoying some Pale Ale and Weizen beer from Norway's oldest brewery tonight.
I guess the name will give a chuckle or two to our English speaking members
It is actually pronounced something like "ous" (two AA's make an å (oh) in Norwegian)

I think we have to start trading beer...you know ...like tea and baccy

A nice glass of homebrew! Made it together with a friend of mine. It's Belgian style tripel, and with an ABV of about 9.5-10% it does pack quite a punch. There's some sweetness in it, but certainly not too much. We agree on keeping beers bitter. We added some herbs (cardamom and coriander) and they go with it perfectly. Though maybe, I'd use a tad bit less coriander the next time.

Next up we're going to brew a strong, dark christmas beer!

That sounds amazing! now that the warmer weather is here I'm leaning towards the wheat ales again. Drank way to many stouts and dark ales over the winter months. Enjoy!!!
