Thanked: 127Yesterday my Daughter, my Fiancé and me had a wondeful bicycle-tour along the River Rhine and what could be better for rest as sitting in a nice beer garden, drinking a fresh and ice cold Wheat-Beer, in this case a Maisels Weisse from Bayreuth Bavaria.

Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA. IPA's are probably my favorite beer. This is a good one. Malty and hoppy.

A definite favorite and one I have been wanting to try for quite a while. Anchor Porter and Samuel Smiths Organic Chocolate Stout.

Thanked: 1185You used to have to break the law to drink this stuff in these parts. I guess all progress ain't bad.
Now if I could only get a chicken fried steak from Texas (size of a car hood with white gravy, fried okra, mashed potatoes and pecan pie) and some Henry Weinhard's Dark, I'd be in businessLast edited by 1OldGI; 08-12-2013 at 10:56 PM.

Long live IPAs
I tried this beer the other day and was love at first sip; generally I like IPAs and this one ranks up there with the best. The hops hit your palate like a sledgehammer, if you get a chance try to get a six pack of these BTW this is no "lawnmower" beer. HOG
This is my primary fermentor doing its job in a corner in my office at home. I am cooking four gallons of Melomel (a fruit mead) I know...I know mead is a type of wine; I will be posting pics of my next beer brewing process.
