    Default Next time I brew

I just kegged about four and a half gallons of Pale Ale; I can't wait next time I brew, it is going to be a Porter and it will be all grain. I am also using for the first time a Refractometer to help me calculate the ABV of my brew. Boy, I love beer! HOG

    Default Diggin' the Can

Seems that lots of breweries are reverting to canned beer. I can dig that! This is a good one from Salt Lake City.

I had a Norwegian made Belgian style wheat beer last night. Locally brewed and very nice. I wouldn't normally choose a wheat beer, they're usually just not to my taste. Not sure I'd get it often but it was nice to have something different.

Had a brown ale from the same Norwegian brewery last night. A decent brew, especially for the price. I could easily pay three times the price for something only fifty percent bettter.

Tonight for the first time I went to a local bar, ordered a huge stake, while listening to a local band. I intend to do this again very soon. They played a lot of 80's music so I enjoyed my favorite beer from the 80's, an Ice Cold Rainier beer. Been years since I had one, and boy how I missed it.

    Hello to All,

As a change from my Sierra Nevada Pale Ale I get from Sainsbury's here in the UK, I thought I would try the Taste The Difference American Pale Ale.

This is brewed by the Tap Room Brewery Company in Rochester USA.

    What a superb beer

Just to make my opinion statistically valid, I shall have to consume another few hundred bottles or so

The things one has to do for rigor in science

    Have fun

    Best regards
