Well Gang,
I ordered some Pu Erh tea on the first of November, the seas were rough, the storms were treacherous, but the captain managed to sail the Chinese Junk to the coast and I now have cake of ripe Pu Erh. 35 days to get it, I plan to try it out tomorrow. I also received a bonus package from NoseWarmer. I pipe I had purchased along with a big ole box of swag!! His generosity knows no bounds! So, tomorrow, I'll drink some tea, and smoke a pipe or three and remember the thousands who gave their lives seventy one years ago at Perl Harbor.
May God look after your souls, you are not forgotten. donv

As my first Pu Erh cake is coming to an end, I am planning to order another one these days.
Seeing all these variations, and being completely ignorant, I chose the brick shown in the link.
Is there anyone here that has ever tried this particular Pu Erh ripe?
TEA
I will not order this without your permission Bela!

Thanked: 485Haven't posted here for a bit:
Semi fermented black tea with Jasmine flowers. Earlier, cucumber sandwiches were taken on the lawn whilst reading.

Hello gang,
I have tried the Pu Erh. I've been looking for a tea like this. One that just slaps you with flavour. It's not for Nancys, when described as "full bodied" it is a fact. I love the flavors it imparts, bold tea with almost a alfalfa hay quality, which I like. I'll put some pictures below, perhaps Bela can tell me if I used the correct amount. After taking the pretty pictures, I poured it into my stainless, vacuum travel mug. I know it doesn't lend much to the tea experience, but it's the only way I can carry hot liquid with a walker!!
Later, Don

Pu Reh Pictures
Here's the pictures I had trouble on the first posting. I only let it steep for about twenty seconds, after the first "rinse" steep of under ten seconds.
