I like black teas in the morning with milk: Bewley's and Barry's mainly. I drink tea without milk throughout the remainder of the day. I've been on a black tea kick for some time. I'm letting my very small collection of raw Puerh teas age...

I've read that apparently adding milk to tea negates the positive health effects otherwise present in tea. QUESTION: Will the milk added to a morning cup or three continue to negate the positive health effects of tea consumed later that day sans milk? Does anyone know of actual evidence related to this?

    Thanks!

Can't remember where I had read it but apparently the casien in the milk is what thwarts antioxident properties to any antioxident rich food n drink. That being said I still like tea with milk n sug . Eat n drink what ya lke cause you only get one life . Love Barry's tea .

Well I learn something every day. I knew about Russian tea but did not know about Middle eastern tea ways.Sorry Phil....sometimes it takes me a bit to see the fly on my nose as it were. I clearly understand now the similarities between Russia and the Middle east . Of course it makes sense now ,when not only does one considers the close proximity of the two regions, but also considering the huge Muslim population within the former Soviet states.Clearly means one thing now.......gonna have to get a Persian tea glass to keep my Russian tea glass company. Here you go guys..thought you might like this...you specially Nosey ol' chum ! Enjoy.. Turkish in Action 4 - Turkish Tea / Türk Çay
