Thanked: 983I was eye-ing off a place on the waterfront a few years back. I thought it would be a great place to open a similar sort of business. Alas no capital to make a purchase. Even more sadly it was bought up and turned into a real estate agency! It should have been a cafe/teahouse in my opinion. I even had my target clientele as the early morning cyclists. These eople are fitness freaks and would hit the teas (and coffee) along with some healthy food for breafast quite well. I had my opening hours from 5am 'til 10am and reopen from 3pm 'til 7pm...Yep, I really did start working out a business plan for the place .

Thanked: 983Yeah, but that would be for the evening crowd. The dog walkers, kids going home from school and such...And me! My plan was for everything to be made in-house, so pies would have been a healthy choice too. A mate of mine has an idea for starting a pie shop. I gave him some ideas on making a decent pie with plenty of flavour from herbs and spices incorporated into the filling. As well as having a proper rabbit pie on the menu, one with more meat and less gravy/vegtable fill. It seems the only rabbit pie to be had around here is mostly this god-awful white sauce and frozen veg mix with a few shreds of rabbit meat. Again my suggestion was plenty of meat and herbs. Don't know if it will ever come about, but I hope he does do it.
