Thanked: 1184" Just because tea is in a bag does not always equate to cheap floor sweepings. "
Well now I didn't think that at all. You (or somebody) had told me this before. I was just thinking it may be fun to dip into the whole experience and the flavors offered maybe a tad bit different. I found a nice sample offer of organic teas but the shipping was more than the tea. I don't want some poor guy to have to paddle all the way here from the UK just to bring me tea, so I'll head to Trader Joe's and see what jumps out at me. There may be a Whole Foods around here somewhere but I never heard of the Costplus World Market.Good judgment comes from experience, and experience....well that comes from poor judgment.

Thanked: 1160Tea - Green Tea, Organic Tea, | World MarketPG tips and Yorkshire gold are two of my mainstays as well as the Barry's and are excellent anytime all day long drinkers. Everything but the Twinnings I would say is good on this sight and they got choices galore. Republic of tea has a good Milk Oolong...anyway enjoy.

Thanked: 1160While I'm at it....note on the builders tea tea ...it's a type/style of workers tea which is usually strong and hearty with milk and sugar.it is also a brand and I have never had it,but I have heard good things about it. Gonna make some builders style right now in fact to calm my stressed out self.............

10pups, that site link he posted for the English tea shop is well worth the look, if im going to order tea online, that's usually who i go thru. their prices are good and the quality of tea is quite good for said price. its well worth your time.

Hey Pups,
Seeing your recent posts, and remembering they are coming from what was a staunch coffee drinker a mere few weeks ago, it's great to see that you have followed through on your promise to give tea a try! Keep dickin' around and you'll find what you like and what you don't. I pick up from you that you are looking for strength, maybe this is from you're love of coffee? Anyway, I found my kick level with some ripe puerh, and I mentioned a while back, that it has qualities that any cowpoke would love, hints of hay is what I pick up, and in a good way. As far as the need for special tools, I'm sure others around here whom are more experienced in tea can help you more than I, but a tea infuser ball thingie, I would think, would do fine to let you handle loose tea.
I wasn't much of a coffee or tea drinker. I mean, at work, coffee was brewing 25/8, I think that's just part of the trade, (power generation). Heck, if your relief had his stuff together, when you came in, it was just starting to flow through the ole Bunn-O-Matic. I would drink coffee once in a while, unlike some of the ex-Navy guys at work, who's blood had to have been a measurable percentage! Still brew up some around here, once in a while.
As I said, good to see you giving it what you have!! Have a great rest of the weekend.

Thanked: 1160That's my magic word...I love Milk Oolong. I'm pretty much a black tea drinker until Milk Oolong comes along.
