Thanked: 983So do you get to 'squat on the pot' over a little man made stream a couple of feet under yer bum like an open sewer? And when you're finished, do you get to wash your backside with a wet sponge that someone else has most likely used before you? Is it that neat to use?

Probably a little too late tonight for it, but, what the heck. A couple glasses of Kusmi Troika seem to be in order. Thanks Nightblade, this stuff's pretty darn good!!

Thanked: 1184Well my Rooibos is almost gone. I have enjoyed it on some cold nights and there are more coming up. I still have half a box of the Earl Grey and it did seem a little light for my taste. You guys suggested black tea but I didn't notice Earl was a lighter of the darks. I know the Grocery store still has some adventures for my taste buds but I don't think I am going to find any Oolong or Miyazaki at Ralph's. What the best place to seek out some of these flavors? Trader Joe's would be my first guess. Or maybe an online deal ? Now I just have a standard whistling tea pot and a cup so I am going to need a strainer or some cheese cloth or something to brew those little twigs ?

Thanked: 983Sitting in a nice cozy house, wife has been baking all day. House is closed up on account of a little wind and rain, so it's more than a little cozy...Perhaps Sauna would have been a better word...Anyway, right now I'm enjoying a mug of Russian Caravan, sitting in front of a fan and a computer, listening to the wind howling outside, after watching half a good movie, before the circuit breaker tripped out to tell me we had a power issue somewhere.
Power issue resolved in time to miss the rest of the movie, so here I am instead .

That's way too wierd ....I was just reading about Ancient Roman Rest Room practices recently......Effiecient for their time...Not so much now yeah..
Welcome to Tea........It's good, it's soothing n good for you ! Ask questions, mind yer manners, sit up straight n eat your vegetables.....But welcome most of all
I told you....I don't make this stuff up now.
For good black tea.... bag tea anyway....refer back to my post for english tea. Trader Joes, or Whole foods will usually carry something like PG tips which is a perfectly good hearty anytime of the day cuppa. Costplus World Market usually carry's Typhoo and Barry's gold which are also very good English and Irish Teabag blends. Just because tea is in a bag does not always equate to cheap floor sweepings.
i've posted this a million and one times but this is a very good go to for good black english teas.English Tea Store - finest teas, teapots, and gift basketsLast edited by Nightblade; 01-27-2013 at 08:12 AM.
