    Yes! I dun saw that! Like I said, lots of cool stuff. Hell, I spent damn near an hour just looking at lighting, oil lamps and what not. They carry Lodge cast iron stuff, that's what I want to look at up town as well. I'm thinking I want a Dutch Oven, I guess I won't be truly happy till I experience ruining food in an old fashioned way!

    I feel your pain Slur. It's like many other things I find on this board, whether it's honing, stropping or even pouring tea; it's not as easy as some video shows it to be! But, as with anything else, practice will cure that. I ended up with 2 gaiwans, one is easy to pour, the other one; really different. You could use bagged tea to practice, just kidding!

    Have fun with your gaiwan. Maybe someone will pass along a trick to keep the leaves where you want to keep them. donv
