That's a good idea. There's a hardware store up North a ways that still sells them, I've always been afraid to look at the prices. They also have a very wide selection of cast iron cookware, fry pans, Dutch ovens and griddles. Maybe I'll pop in there next time I'm up that way.

I checked out that site, cool stuff!! LOTS of cool stuff!! I just checked out Collier Hardware in Chico, looked at the Google Earth street view and can see the crocks in the front window. At least now from your site, I have a price I know that they sell for. But, I would have to take into account the price to ship a crock full of styrofoam that far.Silence is Golden, but duct tape is Silver.
