    That's a good idea. There's a hardware store up North a ways that still sells them, I've always been afraid to look at the prices. They also have a very wide selection of cast iron cookware, fry pans, Dutch ovens and griddles. Maybe I'll pop in there next time I'm up that way.

    Don, check there then check online with a company called lehmans. Its pretty much an amish hardware Store in Ohio, I know They have several different sizes to choose from

    I checked out that site, cool stuff!! LOTS of cool stuff!! I just checked out Collier Hardware in Chico, looked at the Google Earth street view and can see the crocks in the front window. At least now from your site, I have a price I know that they sell for. But, I would have to take into account the price to ship a crock full of styrofoam that far.
