I found out about this thread two days ago and am trying to catch up, 100 pages to go
I have always liked tea. Lapsang is the favourite.
Like most of us here I like the paraphernalia even though they are not a must.
Anyway, had some tea at work today. A friend of mine calls it Hunters blend. It's a homemade Lapsang and Keemun mix.

Lapsang is one tea I haven't tried yet. From what I read, I should like it. Welcome aboard!!!Silence is Golden, but duct tape is Silver.

Thank you very much.
Here I can be more active, I hope. Over on the Pipe thread I just enjoy the pics and the merry banter.

Thanked: 198much agree with steph, welcome aboard to our little slice of heaven olav. am enjoying some sadaf w/cardamom, as i work to chase the chill out of the house from this spring cold snap. decided to get the wood stove going, and got a little playful this morning. put some cloves, cinnamon stick, ginger and some sadaf w/ cardamom in a small can of water on the stovetop, now the house is begining to smell like chai tea. olav, how much of the two did your friend use when making that blend, i have both, and much prefer the lapsang to the keemum.
always be yourself...unless you suck. Joss Whedon
