How much does that Samovar hold, looks perfect for one to two people, and is it old school or electric ?

I'm glad you liked the picture. Nice to be able to contribute for once. I enjoy this thread so much.

I guess it holds about 2 liters. So could probably cater for up to four people, easily. It is electric.
I haven't used it yet since it is basically a very nice looking water boiler. But some day...
I bought it online, a few years ago when we lived in Sweden, from someone that had visited the 1980 Olympics in Moscow.
It is never used and came with original booklet that says it was made March 16, 1979 and cost 17 rubles and 50 kopek.
I like those extra info things.

Now I have to find a nice little pot that can sit on the top, and then one of those trays made to go under it. The list of paraphernalia never ends with these kinds of hobbies, does it?

True words there. I am jealous. I am looking for just that kind of unit. You wouldn't happen to have the address to that place would you ?

I'm sorry, I bought it from the Swedish version of eBay, called Tradera or maybe from blocket, it is like craigslist.
There are several Russian web sites that deals in samovars but they are not cheap.

Just thought I'd share my new Bizen kyusu and yunomi by Kazuhiko Uchida, which are as much a pleasure to use as they are to look at:
