Obviously been a Brit I love the stuff, I mean we REALLY LOVE our tea. We are fed it from a bottle before we can crawl ! We are under the impression a " cup a tea" can make anything seem better. Someone dies, bring the barrived a cup a tea, you have an accident someone brings you a cup a tea, you loose your job/fail an exam/have a headache, you get a cup a tea. There is litteraly nothing that a Brit doesn't think a good brew will make better and depending how serious the problem is deemed the more sugar is added. During the second world war bombs were falling all over the place and what was our responds..........yup "brew up let's have a cuppa then do something about this"

Mine is milk one sugar please
Yes these gentlemen here turned this odd hill billy to tea, but im sorry this post had me rolling. I mean I have spent the past few nights watching top gear uk, and I swear I can see either Jeremy Clarkson, or Richmond Hammond saying this on their show. Love this post

Today I had several cups of 'Monks' from the T Bar shop (Green and Black tea mixed together with jasmine blossoms and vanilla pieces, then some 'Mobili T' (Celery seed, devils claw, ginger, nettles, silver birch leaf - very strong tasting) and also some Apple Oolong. I'm rather getting in to teas at work at the moment. I have a little glass tea pot and 8 different types of tea. I sit there all afternoon drinking cup after cup. I generally infuse the tea several times. I now have a thermos flask I keep at the desk to save going to the kitchen every 10 minutes for some more hot water. I get my teas from here; they sell on line but i go to the store. I highly recommend the 'Activi T', the 'Monks', the 'Apple Oolong' and the Brazilian Matte. I wouldn't recommend the 'Mobili T', it tastes like shit...

Glad I could put a smile on your face

I'm just going to put the kettle on and make my first brew of the day, Tetley tea bags is what we have at the moment I think. I'm not 100% sure but they are round, turn water brown and taste like tea which will do mE white one sugar

A Twinings Afternoon Tea sitting beside me tonight. Not too keen on this one either. I might have to break out the good stuff. I think I still have some Pu-erh in the cupboard, but it won't be much. Really need to get down to a tea specialty shop and re-stock a few of the nicer or untried teas.

Just picked up three packets of sencha from the supermarket before I go home tomorrow. Looks to be all deep-steamed but I'm not sure. Will have to investigate further later on!

I also love tea ! I have had Pu-erh and though I enjoy it my everyday is usually Hojicha (roasted green tea) I just love it ! Though it is sencha I enjoy it if it a is bancha I enjoy it just the same ! I just love the roasted flavor a green tea backbone. I also enjoy herbal teas and that can really vary day to day and throughout the day or night.
