Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast

I've been thinking about doing a work kit. I actually already have a tea pot in my office, but I really need something like an electric kettle, I think.

I used to bring in an electric kettle for water, but no longer have to since we got a coffee maker that boils water as well. I love my tea kit and will make a pot at work tonight in fact in honor of all you guys. Yes Ed....a cup of tea all helps the mind think clearer...IMHO.

A thermos is very handy at one's desk, so you don't have to keep going back to the kitchen...

I laugh now when I look back at all the creative ways I've come up with to make tea at work. One such way was using a thermos as a tea pot. That was after I emptied it one night and was craving for another. What to do ? Boss gave me a couple O teabags and I boiled some water in the coffee urn sans coffee of course. Steep'em for 2-3 minutes with the lid on the thermos. Presto.....office combat ration tea ha ha .

TOTM (Tea of The Moment) 15/07/14

Hmmm, let me see if I can remember what was in this afternoon's mix, I think it was:

    Japanese Green Sencha
    Ginseng
    Licorice root
    Hibiscus flowers
    Rose petals from the garden
    Elderberries
    Gotu Kola

I really like the licorice root, and I love the hibiscus, especially the colour it produces. I really like just mixing bits and pieces; a bit of this, a bit of that as the mood takes me...

Hey, look, standing at my desk in the 'open plan shared office space' taking a photo of the mix is enough. As it was I felt I had to time it for when my work mate went to the photocopier...
