Thanked: 983Wife bought me an Xbox when they had been out long enough for the price to drop a bit. I still have it. Doesn't get used much. Got plenty of games all the same. Never been a fan of golf though and have a tennis game that hasn't been out of the case. As for tea deeeeeeestresser. I've been hitting that hard of late. Had to switch over to mint though, 'cause I think I'm getting an ulcer.

Stranger, if you passing meet me and desire to speak to me, why should you not speak to me? And why should I not speak to you?

Thanked: 485Yes, Mick, always indecisive! I actually sent myself three emails to work from home last night telling myself what tea to get. the last one was titled 'Tea LAST' as I was actually sick of not making up my mind. In the end it the email told me:
"Green tea from Chinese shop in mall and Clari-T https://tbar.com.au/index.php/cart/product_detail/198"
I'm sure I'll go to the markets and get something completely different, like coffee....
BTW, hope you feel better soon, MickLast edited by carlmaloschneider; 05-27-2014 at 09:03 PM. Reason: remedying my rudeness!

Thanked: 485Well yes, something different; did NOT get Chinese Green tea from the Chinese shop in the mall DID get Chinese Heaven Dragon Rose Black Tea instead. Very nice actually, quite mild with a faint rose flavour. A 200 gr tin cost only 8 bucks; it's 14 for a 100 gr tin of 'fancy' tea at T-Bar, and I thought to myself if I want to have flower petals and fruit and things in my tea (which I DO) I could in fact just add them myself. I have one of those electric food dehydrators so am considering drying some rose hips and orange peel bits and pieces and things. I think I could quite get in to that idea of making different mixes up after drying flowers and things...
On a side note; the picture is blurry as I rushed the picture taking. If my colleagues saw me taking photos of my tea pot at my desk there's no telling what might occur. There's enough talk that goes on just because one has a little glass tea pot (and nice tea cup and saucer, side plate and silver 'Apostle' spoon) let alone be found to have been taking pictures of it...
However, as a brave and selfless gesture I shall endeavor, whatever the consequences to take further pictures of my afternoon tea times at my boring Public Servant desk...

I have more sencha than I can shake a tea bag at. Next order I might pick up some Japanese black or oolong, just for a change.
Also bought a lovely Hagi-yaki ippukuwan by Yamane Seigan-- a tea bowl somewhere in between large cup and small bowl size.
Fortunately it's big enough for me to use as a matcha bowl (that's what I wanted it for) but it's also nice for a large cup of houjicha.
