Nearly at the end of this packet. I've started to split my packets into a couple of airtight tubs, so that one lot can be left alone and stay relatively fresh. Getting into the habit keeping a couple of packets open at a time like this, so I have more choice of what to drink.

Currently open is this tea (yabe supreme), another half pack of Kagoshima sencha, half a Kagoshima houjicha and most of a genmaicha.

I always have a matcha open because I tend to drink it before I go training, and I have a packet of hand picked (tezumi) black tea, too.

Next up, I think will be a Miyazaki oolong, for a bit of a change.

EDIT: still got like...four packets of sencha and a kamairicha in the fridge, too...

I love that tea, one of my favourite brews and just about the only thing that can break me away from my puerhs at the moment.

I do the same thing, but I use my vacuum sealer to repack them into sizeable packets. Good stuff!

Always thought is sounded like hassle, but I may look into a vacuum sealer. What kind of packaging do you use?

I HIGHLY recommend a vacuum sealer. Not just for tea. But for coffee, meats, shaving soap, and anything being cooked sous vide. Mine is used constantly.

I just use plastic sealer rolls, they are most cost efficient it seems. You can set the vacuum pressure quite low, so it does not damage the tea. Like OCDshaver, I use it a lot.
