    Hot water is the default. Tea has some properties that are not conducive for a cold (I'm not sure what those properties are), and is also supposed to "cancel out" medicine (specifically, Chinese medicine, I think). Also quite common is boiled coca cola with ginger. I refuse that on all fronts.

    I'm having a black Tea blend named Churchill this afternoon. We are in the middle of a winterty mix so the tea is spot on after my walk back to work after lunch. I recognize Lapsang Suchong, bergamot, and maybe orange in Churchill.

    Today I had Mongolian salt milk tea in it's proper surroundings. Spiced it up with some clotted cream and another dairy product.Name:  image (1).jpg

    Cows milk.
    Mongols usually use cows milk for this, but it could be made with yak milk and sometimes camels milk.
