I'm at my third cup with the Silver Dawn Saffron and I was told I could do 5. It's still as good as the first brew but the saffron is weakening. Still a nice tea.

Thanked: 213If you like the Oolong I would highly recommend you get the sample pack here. It is a extraordinary Formosa Jade. It isn't cheap but you will be highly rewarded.

Well, I tried all the samples this WK and one thing I learned. Drinking Japanese tea for 30+ years is hard to get rid of. I'm clearly not a white tea drinker except for Jasmine. The Silver Dawn/ Saffron was the clear winner for me, hands down. That's a very special tea. The others were not my cup of tea .

I'm having Golden Monkey black tea with lunch on this cool, rainy day.

Finally got around to making the apple tea (for those of you that remember the posts about it)
it came out a lot cloudier than I recall it in Turkey
And I think I over honeyed it a bit, but it was quite tasty.
Next time I will add more cloves and cinnamon too probably.
As a first go and considering I had been awake for 28 hours when I made it I am fairly happy with the result.Bread and water can so easily become tea and toast
