Thanked: 0I am not a coffee guy, but I do love tea. I like earl grey with cream and sugar along with chai the same way. Generally though I prefer tea with no additives. I like Long leaf teas, Oolong, and many other non-floral earthy Asian varieties. I feel very strongly about Lipton teas. I feel no one should ever have to suffer through this dirt flavored excuse for tea.

Tea is my drink of choice at all times of the day except for the early morning. At that time I find that nothing makes sense in my head before the only cup of coffee of the day... But, after that, it's tea for me, thank you very much.
I like all sorts of teas. However, black tea is my tea of choice: darjeeling, english breakfast or earl grey are my choices, depending on the time of day. English style tea is to be had english style: a bit of sugar and a dash of milk.
I find that, when I'm a bit under the weather and the black dog is barking outside, albeit a bit far away, a cup of tea picks me up like no other thing. Except for a nice smile from my baby boy.
As a side note: did you know that tea, that quintessencial british drink was actually introduced in Britain by a Portuguese Queen?

Note: I quite using that Agave nectar and switched to real organic cane sugar...Reason:Agave I found out is really just no better than corn syrup and since the FDA daily allowance for sugar is apparently up to 10 teaspoons ....heck..I'm fine ! Can't really seem to make sense of our dietary guidlines in this country anymore hmm ?

Thanked: 443Hey guys,
I still haven't dug into this thead really deeply; once I pass my Journeyman's exam I'll make more time for it. But here's a question for you: I have a friend, a woman who does not use a straight razor but who is an extremely attentive tea drinker. She keeps a tea journal, times her brewing, tries out as much new stuff as she can afford. Would she be welcome here, just for the tea thread?"These aren't the droids you're looking for." "These aren't the droids we're looking for." "He can go about his business." "You can go about your business."
