Carl, for 'blooming tea' you really need a large glass tea pot (cca 1 liter)...

In a nutshell, blooming tea is an asian tea that when steeped has a bloom(flower of some sorts)that literally opens up in the tea...very beautiful.Never had it myself.Blooming Teas: A perfect Blooming Tea Gift | Teavana

    I think I have a problem...

I've just looked up blooming teas and found I can get them online; and 'cup size' too. I also found I can get really, really cool sounding teas like those found here: Fruit Teas Selection: Rosehip, Marigold, Rooibos, White and Cinnamon

I can see another obsession growing inside me like a wild wild thing, a bit like The Mad Woman of Punnet's Town. I dare you to ask me about The Mad Woman of Punnet's Town (time for another cuppa...)

Sorry...sorta got in late on that one Carl............Hey ,looky at you gettin all fancified and all ! Very very nice. You got a nice sister doin that for you and all too. Hope you'll still hang with us now that yer all upper crust and all. As for Nosey's comment on tea bags....Y'know...I'm poor right now and can't afford my wonderful russian tea.I have no shame or problem in going down a scale and using teabags.Long as I can still enjoy me a humble cuppa...I'm good. Some are better than others in the bag realm as well, but it's all in what you do with it that count's. Brew it right and your in swagmans palace with a nice brew, be hasty and devil may care with it and even the swaggy will snub you and rightly so ! Cheers lads !

    I'm glad you asked...

The Mad Woman of Punnet's Town is a poem I have in a book I have named 'Shorter Lyrics of the Twentieth Century 1900 - 1922'. I gather that she might very well obsessions rising up inside her like mad things...Sorry, I'm all poetical-moody at the moment...

A swell within her billowed skirts
Like a great ship with sails unfurled
    The madwoman goes gallantly
Upon the ridges of the world.

With eagle nose and wisps of grey
She strides upon the westward hills,
    Swings her umbrella joyously
And waves it to the waving mills.

Talking and laughing as she goes
    Indifferent to sun and rain,
    With all that merry company
The singing children of her brain.
