I sampled from 4 different barrels, Barrel #33 was my choice it carried a touch more vanilla on the back side a slightly bigger hint of black currents on the front.
My local place down here did well with this and I am getting it at $20 a bottle (my price).
No complaints here, I usually keep a stock of 1792 and when I went to restock today they had just gotten their first round in.
I have to say I am impressed, Buffalo Trace has always been very decent for a blended and I would always grab some if we had an event,
I am glad they started hand selecting and further aging it,
it has taken it to the next level and I look forward to what is to come.It is just Whisker Whacking

My mother in-law got me a Laphroaig 10yo for Christmas.
She's not a bad woman I suppose, think this will be opened tonight
