I opened a bottle of Arran 10 year old the other night. Very nice fresh fruit notes. Will go back to perhaps at the weekend to see how it's developed.
I'm quite tempted by a lot of the isle of Arran range, as they're good whiskies, from what I've had, and not break the bank prices.

Also tempted by a bottle of something clynelish, after a review of a 16yo indie bottling by ralfy.

Eyes on an Aultmore or something else from tomintoul - I have a peated tomintoul open and fancy seeing what else they have to offer.

I've had higher hopes for Jamesons and Bushmills as well. I have a bottle of Bushmills Single Malt 10 and occasionally go back to it, but I don't find it very complex and overall not very inspiring. There are some other offerings of theirs that intrigue me.

I don't consider myself a "peat head", but I poured and enjoyed a dram of Ardbeg 10 last night. I think I am going to dip into one of my Glenfarclas samples tonight. Tried the Glenfarclas 10 last week and was hoping for more, although it was certainly good.

I have a lot of good things about Red Breast. I would also like to try Green Spot and Yellow Spot.

I tasted that in an airport and it was awesome! I think I bought a bottle, but i don't remember if I gave it to someone or if it's in my queue of unopened bottles. I'm going to investigate my whisky cupboard when I get home.

I'm not all that knowledgeable about Scotch, but was happy to receive this single malt for Father's Day.

Glen Dronach. I'd considered a bottle before. Ralfy says it's good. Would enjoy another opinion

It's two fingers of Buffalo Trace Bourbon tonight. Here's to your health, gennts.

I keep thinking about buffalo trace. I like the idea of bourbon as a change from scotch and buffalo trace keeps coming up as a decent one. I hear good things about Elijah Craig too, but you can't get that in Norway.
