that's why its better to invest in rare whisk(e)y nowadays, than in gold or stock..

Like stock and gold, whiskey is susceptible to a bubble.

I stumbled across this video about Johnnie Walker and wanted to share. Robert Carlyle gives the history of the Walker brand in a single, 6.5 minute take. While walking.

I just had a beautiful beer! It's called " dochter van de korenaar" it's a dutch special (stout) beer and its finish is Ardbeg cask a nice brew with big flavours and that wintery taste of a nice big glass of Ardbeg

It's been a while since I had some of that. And though I don't recall the specifics, I do remember that it was gooood! Enjoy!

    Ooooh, I'm enjoying this one...

For four months I have been acting in a higher position at work with the caveat that I still had to do my regular job at the same time. 250% of the work for 110% of the pay. Something ain't right there, but what the hell, it was interesting. To make a long story short, I have been more or less mentally exhausted since mid-September, but today was my last day of this insanity and tomorrow I return to the normal level of work craziness.

And so tonight I'm enjoying a very, very relaxing glass of A'Bunadh, taking it easy, and not doing a damn bit of OT.

    Slainthe mhath!

It was in original condition, faded red, well-worn, but nice.
This was and still is my favorite combination; beautiful, original, and worn.
