It looked nice when I was originally thinking about buying it and then I forgot all about it. Maybe I'll pick one up if I see it anywhere.

Just finished my first honing attempt on an eBay special and treating myself to one of these.

12 year old, eh? Don't see that very often. I've heard it's nice but I can't seem to find it anywhere—isn't it more expensive than the 16 year old?

For a second I thought you had that new Whiskey called Tin Cup. I would have been envious. Never had the Buffalo Trace, though I have had some of their other products.

It is more expensive and harder to find, I was lucky enough to get it as a Fathers' Day present last year. It's a bit lighter than the 16 but at cask strength it needs a wee drop of water or just get fire!

Sounds good. I've just bought my mum a bottle of Kilchoman Machir Bay for her birthday. I'm a little bit jealous, truth be told, but I'm hoping to get a taste at least!

While I was shopping I bought a couple of samples of Talisker Port Ruighe and Glenfiddich 15 year old Rich Oak (14 y/o?) to keep me happy.

Kirklands 20 year single malt speyside on the rocks.
