February 3rd to March 3rd. I set it outside in my fireplace, so it would be in the shade, but still get all the temperature, and pressure changes to help work on the whiskey in and out of the wood. You can see how the weather has really done a number on the barrel.
Here's a pic of the..... I guess it's whiskey now..... whiskey in my glass and how it's gone from ultra clear to a very nice pale amber. The pic actually shows a bit darker than it really is. The smell and taste is still very much like a moonshine.
Well, lets let it sit for another month!

I have the same barrel aging now, since April last year. I think it's going to need 2 years before I bottle it and go again. Originally Posted by HARRYWALLY
