Thanks Zip & John, I just might pull the trigger then, who knows, if I don't care for it, I can always pay it forward.

Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???

I wish a local retailer stocked it so I could give it a sniff. I don't want to smell like a cat hoarder, so please give me an honest opinion, should I give it a go or not? Thanks.
Give it a go Sir !!....As Hirlau says, it's one of the oldest,
if not the oldest Pinaud product dedicated to men only,
originally as "Lilas De France" and then (and now) as "Lilac Vegetal".
There has to be a reason why it's still in production and that's
    because it's popular.
I've always found that you have to wait 5-10 minutes after applying for
the true, gentler essence to predominate, no cat smells

Late to post but this Friday was Classic...
I must say I thought of going for the Special Reserve - a winter scent in the face of hot humid day...

    Have a great weekend!

We'll I did it, i just placed my order, in a few days I'll need to flip a coin to see what to use on Friday. I ordered Lime Sec, Musk, Bay Rum, and Lilac Veg. I would like thank John, Zip, and Bongo for your honest opinions on the Veg. I will give it a fair chance.

That's awesome, Rearden. I don't think you'll be disappointed. I really like the Lilac Veg, and am going to try that barber trick I posted just to see how it works for kicks and giggles. If nothing else, it would be nice to "Double" my quantity of Lilac Veg.

I recently have been transferring my plastic container Clubman fragrances to glass pump bottles. These pump bottles can be had on Amazon for $10 and under depending on the design and they look nice in the shaving den. Plus, I prefer storing alcohol based fragrance and essential oils in glass. I think this helps keep the fragrance faithful to original factory scent.

Clear bottle is my homebrew Witch Hazel blend, Green Bottle is Wintergreen Alcohol (70 percent) cut with distilled water to delute it to 35 percent alcohol. Yellow Bottle is Clubman Pineaud original. The entire 12 oz Pineaud fits in perfectly (original bottle in the background).
Just make sure you order GLASS. Some of these containers on Amazon are plastic. Unless you want plastic, but that (IMO) defeats the purspose of transferring them out of the Clubman plastic containers.

    Aloha! - and ENJOY!
