I need to replace my Bay Rum, it turned up missing after my little brothers last visit.... "try this" must have more than one meaning....

But that Omega Brush was the shocker. Picked it up as a backup to my other Boar and it became the favorite...
The only AD I've been able to skip is Brushes...I do (over) compensate in other areas...

Well, it's your brother, so he probably did think "Try This" meant "Here You Go, TAKE it and Try It."

I too have escaped the Brush AD. I have a mere even dozen brushes (two of them still in the original box), and I use 4 of these most of the time.... the Omega XL being a favorite, and the Omega Synthetic being not far behind. I really like the Synth. It's very convenient hot having to soak a brush when you are in just a bit more of a hurry to get the shave on. Also, the bristles work well for adding a bit of extra loft to low-suds creames like Cremo during face lathering. I have to put the Vie Long Horsehair up there as well. What a great brush, especially for the money.

My AD is the worst with Soaps/Creames/Aftershaves/Cologne. I currently have enough for a lifetime and need to slow down significantly or I'll never use some of them even if I were to shave twice a day. The rest goes in spurts. Straight Razors, DE Razors, Hones, Blades, Stands, you name it. I will focus on one thing for a month then move on to AD something else.

I read a few reviews on Bay Rum recently and surprisingly to me, the Clubman was the highest rated, with the reviewers saying it was the only Bay Rum they would wear frequently. I know this is very subjective, but I still thought it was interesting none the less.

After reading about a few of you gentlemen sticking with Pinaud Classic, I had to follow suit.

Pinaud Classic (decanted into a glass dispenser) for me from head to toe with the matching powder. - EVEN THOUGH IT'S SATURDAY, I'm continuing with Clubman.
