A word of warning here, when my wife was pregnant she went off my favorite vetyver cologne. That was 7 years ago and she still doesn't like it even though she loved it before all the hormones kicked in. Shame for me as it's still at the top of my list. Might be best to play it safe with mellow scents for now and go to town in future when you're the daddy to save spoiling future favorites!
The old man smell is one of those things in life I really enjoy when it comes to soaps and aftershaves and colognes. I'm partial to the oldschool in many ways and have been for years, that's just the way I am. It's not for everybody though.

I've started splashing Chanel #5 Perfume on my chest. She doesn't like that either, but the claims about "old man smell" have totally stopped.

Try ogallala sandalwood... It has a light lingering smell and my wife liked it while she was pregnant..

Some really good suggestions thanks guys. The only problem with taking her with me is the "you're buying more shaving stuff?!?" line from her. Maybe now is a good time to try out some milder scents in varieties that I wouldn't normally try just to see if anything sticks for her.

Yes the pregnancy time is tough. My wife was very sensitive to smells during both her pregnancies. Might be a good time to consider Witch Hazel for a few months.

Maybe take her with you and let her pick one that you both like?
