Vienna also plays host to one of the greatest Asian restaurants I've ever been to—more so during the winter months when it'll serve Murauer Bock beer. Who knew? Old school Austrian Bock beer goes extremely well with fine Asian cuisine.

Having both as well, I agree that its really tough separating them. The particular RA that I have is much more polished and luxurious than the Revisors I have. I think RA offers more luxurious options than Revisor. But they both take exceptionally nice edges. I think it comes down to cosmetic preferences.

Are those the scales the razor came with, or did you or someone else have that done?

I got a Ralf Aust for my first straight razor—gauging other's experiences with them on this forum. It's just got some black scales and is rounded—which is fine for what it is. I do like yours though, especially the scales.

Added this RA French Point with Snakewood Scales to the group (up to 5 RA now and my RAD has been cured... well, at least for now).

If you had Phoenix51, I would have purchased this one:

6/8" Rasiermesser mit französischem Kopf und Bismarck-Klinge

In fact, it is still in my "cart"... But I am quite happy that I got this one!
