Here is my Ralf Aust 5/8 round...along with the truly excellent 3" Premium IV English Bridle Strop
I re-scaled mine in ebony and ended up with a very special bit of kit! I originally wanted to splurge on a far more expensive 7/8 that was double the cost of the entry level 5/8 but as I had never used a straight before, Don at SRD guided me to a far more sensible option...I've been using this for about 9 months and have never looked back or regretted this purchase for a second!

Mine arrived a few days ago, my first new straight razor. I love it! Only my second straight, and I still have some learning to do, but this won't be my last razor.

My latest addition and only my second straight! I really like the RA razors now! Sorry for the leather particles on the scales and oily blade but I did not dress it up for it's photo session

Just received my Ralf Aust 5/8 round and strop set from SRD. My official 1st straight, since I got my Dreadnought shavette a year ago. Looking forward to it's 1st use.

My only 7/8 to date and my Sunday Night shaver (nice and heavy after not shaving for the weekend and letting things grow out a little bit)
