This one is unique to my collection as it's neither notched, nor a spike/square tip, will clean up very nice.

Here is a before pic, will update when the restore is finished.

It's quite like mine but, as you say, without a notch. Not that we could tell from the pic... hint hint.

    You think it's notched?

No, LOL, but the place where the notch would be is cut off in the picture. It would be nice to see the whole thing.

Yes, went back and looked at the listing, it's the pic of the blade and the box, that's all...maybe I'm assuming it has no notch? Can't remember if I email the seller now...to much going on!

Going to check my email now when I get home...not a great fan of the notched blades...that gorgeous one you've got in oak aside from you doing an excellent job at the scales, is a gorgeous square point.

My entry into this club is an antique store find from my wonderful wife. She found it fell in love with the blade etching and shape, I verified that it was absolutely worth saving. Sometimes I think she is having more fun with this than I am.
“The Clean Shave” – because I am still a Noob, I don’t really know that much about this blade, but it does look like it will clean up nicely.

Didn't think I'd get this, put a $50 bid on this W&B frame back and forgot about it, just got home, and I now have a W&B frame back to welcome to the family.

Here's the before, off to get cleaned up and honed, will post the after pictures!

I do declare, Phrank, some people sweat moisture, some sweat bullets, you take the cake, you sweat W&B's (Doesn't it hurt when they have to get out through your pores?)

Hey Dennis, can't tell, either 5/8 or 6/8, the blade has the following etch on it, "The Unequalled & Justly Famed Patent Frame and Back Razor", either way, will be cool, but still not a 7/8! Hard to imagine a 7/8 until I saw your one, can't imagine them getting any bigger than that...just dropped a bid on this one with the hope it might be a 6/8, didn't expect to win, but am certainly very happy I got this one for the price.
