Wowzers, and that exquisite brass latch! There's something that doesn't need cleaning. Are the hinges as nice?

Very nice - I'm waiting for the return of my, Wade and Butcher, The Celebrated, Anglo-Saxon Concave Razor....it's small at 5/8, but one of the more unique blades I've seen. I've seen one other cleaned up by Max Sprecher, it looked stunning and now I can't wait to see it!

That is a nice razor! I am a sucker for etchings on the blade

Leave a razor or two for the rest of us, we're going to have to call you "The Butcher Baron" or something.

Honestly, that's another stunning.... trophy to add to your collection.

    Never!

The razor in the link is not mine, was done by Max, I have the same one, just waiting for the restore, it's in superb condition, will show some pics when it's done, mine will be done in my usual black horn. Not original, but along traditional lines. This was one of the three lot of 3 W&B's, I got as a BIN on E-Bay for $150! The other two are quite nice as well, but have gone to other friends, just so I spread the joy around.

Now two W&B's shy of my 14 day rotation! When that's done...work on the 21 day W&B rotation, and then haha....but yes, my Tardis certainly landed me in the land of W&B's...love em!

That stupid 15/16 w&b frameback sent me into a w&b feeding frenzy, I totally understand.

That frameback of yours is absolutely stellar...I've got peeps out looking for one for me...I've come close, but it has to be a 7/8....for me, that's a center piece razor for a collection.

So Dennis, what W&B are you on the lookout for?

Yup, remember those day's with the hockey cards, "got it, got it, need it, need it...."....I always glance around for an Ottoman, in the bizarre chance one from the hotel checks in to E-Bay....and the elusive W&B 9/8 Celebrated, FBU, spike point, that is a must have on finding!

Won this on E-Bay the other day, great find at a great price, a more rounded tip, 9/8 Wade and Butcher, Celebrated, For Barbers Use!

This one is unique to my collection as it's neither notched, nor a spike/square tip, will clean up very nice.

Here is a before pic, will update when the restore is finished.
