Absolutely not! No genetic contamination of the original gene pool should be tolerated! It is, after all, an entirely different species. A custom razor by any other name,is still just a new custom razor. And that is all I have to say about that.
"It is easier keeping a razor honed than honing a razor."

Thanked: 4249You would think that if you bring back a brand you would make their best seller item and not a new item they never made.

Thanked: 38Yeah...this is what I am hoping for, to be able to get a big ole "for barbers use" with the same specs and not have to sell my car to get one. I saw one the other day, fully restored for $1,200? Nuts! Of course, the more I look into it...I think you are all right. What the bleep is an iron tusk?
I was hoping they would stick to the original. After all, why would you buy the patents and rights to the company and then use Damascus steel and "introduce" a new model?Last edited by Blamo; 04-09-2017 at 02:52 AM.
Brandon- horses have the temperament of a house cat...a 1,200 pound, frightened cat, with a brain the size of a piece of bubble gum.

Thanked: 2284Exactly my thinking too Martin. The FBU is maybe the most popular razor.... Ever?? Why the heck wouldn't you make the blade that goes with the name?? To me, that would be a good marketing ploy.
Suppose we should wait and see what comes out of the new company before jumping to too many conclusions.Burls, Girls, and all things that Swirl....
