Here's a Wade & Butcher Celebrated Hollow Ground Razor I got off the bay a few months ago. It's a beauty isn't it?

Thanked: 1I scored this Featheredge off Ebay a few months back but never got a chance to get to it. It has burr marks from it almost all over, but this razor is so thick or heavy I think i can get it down without really taking so much metal off. I made a little headway so far. This might be my pride and joy. Its 8/8th and FBU. I have seen a few of these, one on the Butcher Shop but never an 8/8 or FBU. I am thinking these are pretty hard to come by. I am going to put brown horn scales on it as well.

Thanked: 1New scales
Here is a WB wedge I got from ebay a while back for $50. I wanted to put some cool custom scales on it, and something different, so I searched for some cool material and found this place logs to lumber. The owner was really nice and worked with me to cut the exact dimensions that I needed. That is always the problem with finding scale material it seems, never the size you need. This material is Acrylester and has some translucent properties. The store has so many cool and crazy colors it was hard to pick one, but I went with this blue. I also had a Frederick Reynolds Frameback redone and I used the same material but in this deep purple. Overall I just wanted to do something different and I like the results. What do you guys think? Also, shot out to my buddy Sam for the scale work. Note-Got impatient and put brass pins on but replacing them with nickel. If you want any contact info on Logs to Lumber I have the contact info-just message me.

Thanked: 1I just got this celebrated yesterday. Made a trade for an Elliot and some cash for it. Its just shy of 8/8-15/16 it has very shallow pitting with a horn handle. the pitting is so shallow I know it can easily be taken down. I am not quite sure that I like the satin look of it, but its shave ready and I am happy that I finally landed a notched celebrated without paying $250-350.
