Just got pictures from Valery at The Gentleman's Den - two Wade and Butchers that were on the verge of passing from this world, beautifully restored as usual.

Thanked: 2Is the round french point rare for the W&B?

I'm no expert, but it appears a round or square point or barber's notch are most common. Here's another french point from a few posts back:

Here's some info on W&B I found interesting, on SRP member manah's website:

Thanked: 2Hey Doc, nice blade you got there! This is the first I've seen in a French Point from any forums. I'm guessing the style is rare. I've found one in the wild and got a sweet deal. I'd like to know more about this style. Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks!

I have a smaller W & B with a french cut on the end. Unfortunately someone decided that some light grinding on it would help along the edge but didn't hurt it. The scales were mismatched bone, one side was darker than the other so I made some new bone scales for it. I guess I can touch it up with progressions of sandpaper starting at 500 grit & working up to 3000 grit.
