Thinking about options on the rescale, I need a small silver eagle I can inlay in the scales

Just had a shave with the W&B 7/8 th Celebrated I snagged off E-Bay.

Was just polished, re-scaled in dark Buffalo Horn and honed by Val of the Gentlemansden (his username on SRP).

Compared to the 9/8 W&B's I have, this one still has that nice heft, very smooth and thorough, and really like this blade as it's one that I can use with a little less fear of dinging it or damaging it in some way. Anyhow, here it is, in the Butcher Shop now, the W&B Celebrated 7/8:

Was that your new razor? How beautiful. I was admiring pics of it on his Facebook page I follow. That is a really nice piece. I really love the handles and want one for my collection one day.

You know he called you a really good customer

Hahaha....Val is a really great guy...got two of his nicest W&B razors from him, which are absolutely awesome blades...he's going to get the W&B 9/8 Anchor razor I just got and fully restore it. The scales on the new one appear to be in great shape, Val has seen the pics and is going to bring the old scales back to life, clean the whole razor up, give it a mirror polish (OK, I like the mirror polish!! haha) and hone it up!

Can't believe I found an WB Anchor...going to shave with it a few time's, and put it to bed with the other 9/8's - those blades are for special occasions! That's why I was so pleased to snag the WB 7/8 Celebrated, while a gorgeous blade, I can use this one more as a day to day blade along with my W&B wedge.

Was just looking at my Double Duck and W&B wedge, they're like juggernauts...nothing will stand in their way...getting to like the wedges more surprisingly!!

But yes, Val does a superb job, and I laughed at the little joke he pulled on me with the old Holeka #50 I had him rescale in blue....he put a glow in the dark wedge on the blade...darn near gave me a stroke...but told him to have fun with that blade!!!

Just got this wade & butcher; bought it because I like the engraving 'You lather well, I'll shave well' and the scales it came in.

Now how do I go about in restoring it? There are a few small chips, and there's some staining on the blade on the back (Ill take better pictures when I've got natural light).

I can tell you this much, since it has the England stamp on the tang, the year is 1900 plus...others will add to the info later.
