Unfortunately not. I was hoping the person I purchased it from would see my post and speak up. I can't remember the details from the classified ad....one of those deals where I saw it, had to have it and bought it right away!
...OK, looking back through my PayPal account I've found the user's name, but not his SRP username. If anyone knows Chris Utzat, please let me know or ask him to contact me about this razor. Thanks!!!!!Last edited by crichton; 04-30-2009 at 01:46 AM.

Chris is member C utz, some very fine razors. I missed the day he posted his last batch of classifieds... There were a couple of straights that sold before I ever knew they were for sale. Ya snooze ya lose. Since then I have been watching the classifieds much closer.

Twin membership
By the way, this is my submission for membership.
These are a pair of twin twins, a purchase from C utz
A Friodur with my second attempt at manufacturing my own scales.
Another Friodur I love.
Henckels 401
A Henckels group shot.
I do love my henckels. The Friodurs hold up best to my beard out of all my straights. I also love worked spines...

Friodur Scales
First off, please forgive my angles and hand positions a little. It is slightly difficult holding items in both hands and attempting to photograph at odd angles. Much less when one of those items is slightly sharp.
The highlighted area shows the reason for the higher contour. It simply sets the razor in a comfortable and consistent position for stropping.
This photo demonstrates the shaving position; the slight stretch from my index finger to ring finger is very comfortable to me.

Thanks! Great ideas, for both stropping and shaving, that you incorporated into the scales' design.
The photos are just fine, and I like how you highlighted them to associate the text in your post.

J. A. Henckels No 2 wedge
Here's a local find of a number 2 wedge. First Henckels wedge I recall seeing. Any others around that I missed? I would love to see them. Great shaver this one is.
