My fourth razor and first Wostenholm. I'm wating for it to arrive from eBay ($27!). It should clean up with a few laps on the buffer. Then I'm going to attempt my first full honing on it.

    Traskrom,
You have a nice Wosty there. Mine is not nearly as pretty, but it shaves so well that I am looking for more Wostenholm razors. I paid $1 for this one and an old Wade & Butcher together. The W&B is still waiting for some attention. They were both so rusty that I was not sure of the names on them, but I could see the Sheffield lettering. The scales were pretty much gone so I got some horn and carved the new to match the old with no wedge. Just an offset carved into them and pinned.

As I said, it's not the best looking, but the shave is great.

I actually like that look in an old razor. I have a few Wostenholm's that look about like that, and they are all excellent shavers.

My 2 Geo. Wolstenholm & Sons razors. They came as a free replacement to a cracked blade I recieved from an ebay member. That was mighty nice of him. This is his Father's collection. I honed out the crack on the A. Fiest, and Cie.

I honed out the crack on the Monterna. Doesn't look too bad now. All razors were from a previous collection and weere not polished.

I do have a question about the "SUPEP.B" that I see on the razor. Notice that? Was it a light strike? It's on both razors and I noticed it on this razor as well... https://picasaweb.google.com/alanami...85085233722546 Hope the link shows up. Were there many of that model? I have had a good shave from both of them.
