    [QUOTE=manah;499883]Very interesting Wostenholm razor.
    Never saw the price on the blade, that was made as stamp.

    Alex, Here's a round point to match.

    I watched this razor on eBay, but I don't remember why I didn't bid.
    Very nice razor.

    Ah, the G vs the J. J Wostenholm is different from G Wostenholm; I've had razors from both, good steel all around - just different makers.

    Yes, they were two different companies and may be, this thread isn't place for EBRO razors.
    Some interesting facts.
    In about 1906 legal action was started by Geo.Wostenholm Company "against certain persons styling themselves as Joseph Wostenholm & Sons Limited of Rivington Works, Sheffield" for the manner in which they were using the name of Wostenholm. The 1907 annual report indicated that negotiations were proceeding on the basis of Geo.Wostenholm & Son's claims and costs being allowed.
    The 1919 Sheffield register lists the EBRO mark as belonging to Adolph Castor.

    There is no spacer between the handles on either Joseph Wostenholm razor!

    The owner of "pipe" trademark before 1787 was W.A.Smith.

    This is my contribution, and hopefully addition to this str8 razor club, the I-XL PIPE Shop. G. Wostenholm I-XL 5/8 spike point. I polished and honed this razor myself. It was given to me from my friend Dan. It was not shave ready. I'm proud to say it is now.
