    Thank you Gibbs for your answer. I've thought would be something of this sort, but then NON IXL would not be a good advertiser on the blade?!
    I have one with NON IXL on it.

    You have NON-XLL razor. This stamp was used by another maker - Joseph Allen & Sons.
