I really love the razors, they take a very nice edge fast and keeps it really nice.

Here we have a razor on top that is a Bengall Cast Steel, I need to fix this one because the scale on one side is cracked. Its not cracked all the way but it is not fun to look at.

I have had this razor for a quite a while now with the intention of making it like-new pretty by polishing the blade out and then re-blue the tang. With a lack of materials and knowledge combined with eagerness I decided to just hone it up anyway this afternoon and finish the restoration once I have some pinning materials and the right blueing product.
I have not got any before shots but it had a very nasty 'S' frown that I had to get out which took a while The good news is that once it was out, it honed up very easy.

Shaves like only a Bengall can

Yeah yours is definitely in better shape than mine! Very pretty. Mine will shine again one day when I have the right materials. One plan I have is to have some thrust washers so that the blueing doesn't get worn off by rubbing the scales all the time.

Thank you, I prefer 3/4 wedges instead of a full wedge, like the other Bengell on the other picture.
The one with the cracked scale is a full hollow blade and I think its too flimsy
You must post pictures when you are done with your Bengall.

Nice ones Stefan. I've seen that etch on George Butler razors but never the Bengalls.

Here's my latest Bengall. A 5/8 Full Concave which I just restored and re-scaled.
As expected it's a fantastic shaver.
