I only keep enough razors to make sure I have something shave ready every day. I figure I'm good until sometime in 2019.

I have 28 that I can SEE right now.
I am sure I have a few others somewhere hiding or in different stages of repair/restore.
I have almost completed my Goldedge 7 day set and my Made For the Army 7 day set.
Although I would like to get a few more of the Goldedge maybe a bit larger...I am pretty happy.
(for now)

Too many? Hmmm!
I have quite a few and have decided that I am only going to purchase razors I find in the wild now. However, I have also decided to buy specific brands and or models like wedges, or 14's. This limits the numbers just from availability.

Thanked: 2I have the same problem as you maybe worse i started buying razors in Jan this year i got up to 24 razors within a few months then i got this notion why not buy all the Filarmonicas i can buy Nos or near enough so i bought a Novodur 13 Nos then a 14 Novodur in mint cond then a Corte corbello 5/8 mint then a 14 Sub Cero in mint cond then another 14 Nos Doble Temple then a Barbas Duras 14 then a Muletta 13.Honed them all enjoyed them for a few months then the craze started to wear off a bit i thought to myself im nearly spending more than im making truly so my conscience and then my experimentation with all the Fillies was coming to an end i felt the only Filli i really think is my best shaver and truly best shaver was the Sub Cero which Glen has at the moment for honing.I then put all of them on the bay and sold them and lost about 600 dollars or a tad more then i felt silly like this blind fold had come off and i started to think rationally i said what was i thinking how silly was that, then a few months went by i even contemplated giving the straight razor shaving up then the craving hit even harder i started getting a craze for big blades so i went out and bought a absolutely pristine Wade and Butcher chopper 9/8 fully restored then another Wade and Butcher 15/16 Fully restored then a 9/8 Gilbert Bros which i had a post on here earlier then i bought a Alis 8/8 chopper and i said i would never buy another razor smaller than 8/8 boy was i wrong.I then bought a Zowada 2h razor then i got this notion about buying a collection of all the best German razors the guys on this forum bragging how good they were and me trying to block my eyes and not read post after post about these Dubl Ducks and Henckels and Pumas etc so what did i do next what an idiot stupid me does best start looking and start buying so i bought a Gotta 120 Nos then a Dubl duck Wonderedge Nos then A Nos Henckels Friodur then a mint Puma 31 then a Nos Beau Brummel 35 then a Mint Engels Leader a a Kiebitz and Red Dot. I then went on holidays and took my tablet with me which was another great mistake i started searching again and my fiance wasnt happy, Too Bad.I then saw a puma coffin for sale so i won that bid i needed that for my puma didnt have its coffin i then started looking again whilst on holidays and found a Nos 13/16 Puma 89 i couldnt believe my eyes i stayed up with only 4 hrs sleep till the early hrs of the morning and won that razor as well which i must say is now my best razor on par with my Sub Cero but i think i like it better than the Filli something justified for once lol.I then bought a 90000 Canayama strop which im still waiting for, so what am i trying to say at the end of day after all my ranting and raving is that the bug bites some harder than others and even though im a sssssssssiiiiilllllllllyyyyyyy boy and have spent nearly 8k this year alone on razors and razor supplies and im not kidding you one bit about how much i spent and im not proud of it at all but thats life i hope i stop soon or il be divorced before i even get married which is next month God help me pppppllllllzzzzz thanks for reading and Merry Xmas to you all and a fantastic straight razor shaving 2014some of the collection sorry bout pics nearly 230am stop this madness

I got my RAD under control after the purchase of my 4th razor...a Robert Williams. As everyone knows those things don't come cheap. I have enough DEs and Straights to last my life, and two other lives. I can't make any promises about brushes though!
