Thanked: 1WOW!
I got my RigaRazor a week ago, and used it for the first time a few days ago.
I was floored with the smoothness of the edge! Does anyone know what he uses as a finishing stone? I sent a message to "is..ma" and RigaRazor on ebay, but haven't heard back yet. I have not really understood what people meant by a comfortable edge until now. All my other razors feel harsh by comparison..
And thanks to all of you guys in this thread. I would never have had the confidence to try out a new production razor of unknown brand, but the thread here gave me the confidence to pull the trigger! I got a real nice 6/8" with G10 scales for $132 shipped!

Thanked: 11I asked Sergej by email when I bought my razor from him.
He finished my edge on Naniwa Gouken Kagayaki #12 K with one layer of "Scapa" tape on the spine .
Thickness of the tape is 0,13 mm.

He sells carbon steel and tungsten steel razors, the latter at a huge premium. Is tungsten steel worth the money?
