    Never seen a Joseph Elliot like it. It looks the the sort of straight razor that a character in a Frank Frazetta painting would use.

    I suppose.....It is also no 'faux frameback', either.

    Early hollow-ground. A 'rattler', if anything?

    It is heavy. You'd be suprised how it removes hair from my face. Like hot butter through broccoli. It's amazing..LMAO Or is that like hot butter on a biscuit

    i guess 80% of my razors are extremely rare, i have several one oft customs, there is,nt another one like them any where. so thats a good description of rare, the only one. nice set though

    I know what the kanji means. Basically states it's hand forged with hitachi steel. Don't know the maker. Tang has hammer marks. The steel is very hard and the grind is very thin. I'll take it over my iwasaki any day.

    Once of my best shavers and I haven't come across another one like it. Something tells me there is something special about it, and not to let it go.
