Wow! Does Joe forge the blades or regrind existing ones?

Nope He got some stock, cut the general shape and removed whatever didn't look like a 9/8" monkey-tail French point razor Actually he also does regrinds (did a great job on a little 4/8" TEW wedge for me and that prompted me to go to him for my first custom).

Wow, that blade is beautiful. I love shaving with the larger blades, they seem to give me a better shave. My favorite right now is a Joseph Rodgers with a 1 1/4" width blade.......... big fun, great shaver with a great sound while chopping. I'd really like to order up one of those razors.

Hey Joe, your masterpiece generated some interest on SMF. Mind if I pass on your contact info to the interested parties?

Thanks guys. Comments like this keep me motivated when I want to quit and have a beer or 12. I'm working on a 7 day set right now (3 stainless and 4 damascus) and should have some pix soon.
