Thread: How do you say 'straight razor' in ...?

In Scots gaelic it is Sgian bhearraidh. Sgian is knife and bhearraidh means shaving/shearing/clipping.

Since I do speak Russian - Опасные бритва - it does stand for Dangerous razor

It basically translates to Straight Razor...

By the way, just for fun, in french "coupe-chou" means "cabbage cutter"... It can also been called "sabre" (= saber, but you did'nt need a translation anyway)

In Kurdish= Gwézan

It really means razor, I dont know if there is a specific word for a straight razor..but i dont think so. All razors are called Gwézan.

Greek is ευθύ ξυράφι.

In Czech republic is:
