I only have one razor (a 1/4 grind Le Grelot) from there, and the honing (he prehones all of his razors at no extra cost) was not bad. May need some tuning up depending on your personal preference, but mine shaved reasonably well. Many had the same experience. Originally Posted by smokelaw1

nice razor i love my 1/4 grind wcker need to have 1 of these also as far as shave readyness the ones from martin are good ive heard but everyones definetion of shave ready is different they can all use a little tweaking to get them as you like them to shave

I got a 1/4 grind LG from martin and it was very nicely honed. I have my own way of doing it, but it was definitely shave ready for me.

I received one of the 1/4 grind LG's in the mail today from RasurPur. Very impressive looking razor. I stropped it on linen and leather and shaved and was shocked at the smoothness. I am very pleased with this deal! Thanks to you Martin for a great razor.

TI full hollow and 1/4 grind Le Grelot comparison. Both are 6/8.
