    Default Gold Dollar

We have ordered the complete series of Gold Dollar razor style numbers and will make them available through our eBay mysterydoll user name. We will set the prices when they arrive and all costs are known. I will post when they arrive.

I truthfully think money has nothing to do with it because I not once asked for any. I didn't hold anyone at gunpoint demanding money, in fact most PMs were very cordial and some of the most supportive from the newer guys.

This past weekend I met up with Larry from Arlington Texas and he taught me more over breakfast about honing and pastes than I have learned watching videos etc. He made an effort to reach out and make a connection with anther human being to further this hobby. I met him on this forum and am grateful, very grateful.

Its Larry's spirit we should embody, not quoting fees higher than they are to make it appear less appealing to all those members with hopes of getting a few for themselves to learn on. Everyone has to start somewhere right? It seems more like high school mentality with picking on the new kid. Have we not grown into MEN and moved past this?
Where do I sign up to be a contributor? In fact, I'm not sure that I've seen a contributor tag on anyone here (I assumed that no one was). By contributions, I mean by sharing knowledge. I apologize for not being more to the point, but I was trying to explain that no one is singling you out for anything. As to the picking on the new guy, nothing could be further from the case. This forum is exceptionally generous to the new guy, but not overly anxious to put money in their pockets IME. That's not to say you had any money making scheme in place; it's just that we don't know you that well... Seriously, I wouldn't even try to do anything like that, but if I did, I'd expect some raised eyebrows and extra scrutiny from more senior guys... That's all I'm saying.

    I apologize for the misunderstanding.

Lets just end the discussion I think everyone had good intentions. It just did not work out.

I have started to work on more of my original razor buy and will list some more on eBay Sunday when I shave test the rest.

Thanks, but I'm not sure that "it" is over. If he wanted to do a group buy, I'd still participate. Like I'd probably buy from you.

Agreed. I'm still in if it happens.

Also, if I come into a new forum and want to organize something where people have money or goods at risk (a pass, group buy, etc.), I always do what I can to take all the risk (ship before recieving payment, etc.). Just a thought. Not necessary, just something I do to help allieve the general newbie mistrust.
Yes, I would be willing to add in a group buy in my next order. My last shipping bill was $145.00. I'd love to have paid only $95.00.

I suggest you look into what it you would have to do to do an International Money Transfer. A lot of banks don't do them and so that do charge and nice chunk of change to do them.

I anticipate ordering in December or January.
If there are enough guys that do commit to this group buy. I can determine what fees and all are involved I can give an idea what the cost per razor will be to get it to you. As you can see that this isn't like going to Wally-World and buying one. I would like 25% to cover my efforts.
I try to keep my orders under $2000.00. If I go over $2G, there are import brokers fees that are also added on. I hope you're getting an idea if the wholesale price on a razor is list at $1.85, it's just like the tip of an iceberg. There is a WHOLE LOT more underneath then what is showing above.

That's right. I had had forgotten that my bank also charged me $35 for that.

Makes Paypal fees seem not so bad after all!

Consider me committed to the group buy Ken. Thanks.
